About CareerScape Counseling
CareerScape Counseling supports you in exploring career options, preparing for employment, and taking the next steps towards achieving your career goals. Our staff helps participants identify their interests, assist with skill-building, and continue to provide support as you embark on your career journey. You’ll also develop skills to make yourself stand out in the interview, get connected to training and educational opportunities, and get access to job shadowing opportunities with local employers.

Not sure what you want to do or how to get started? We’ll help you find a career that fits your interests and strengths, connect with industry professionals, apply for apprentices or internships, and organize job shadows.
College Assistance
Post-secondary education can include two-year or four-year degrees, certificates, and more! We’ll guide you toward the best options and assist with enrollment.
Job Readiness
Resumes, applications, interviews, and paperwork for new jobs can be intimidating, so we're here to help! Plus, we can work with you to overcome barriers to employment like transportation, mental health, and childcare.
Mentorship
Like all Operation Fresh Start programs, you will receive ongoing mentorship and support, even after you’ve completed CareerScape.

Career Coach
Hi, my name is Aram Donabedian, and I’m here to help you identify what you’re passionate about and get you on the path to finding a fulfilling career!
Finding work that pays the bills is important, but finding a job that nourishes your soul can be challenging. When we start working together, I’ll be here to guide you through the process every step of the way. From typing up a resume to practicing for your first interview, I’ll be by your side.
Cherish developed her resume, practiced mock interviews, and was connected with Reach Dane where she interviewed and got the job!
Sincere is interested in a career with programming and video games, so he met with a producer from Raven Software to learn more!
Andrew job shadowed at Union Hair Parlor and visited Chanell Ardor Beauty Schools to establish his career plan in cosmetology!
